I. HATE. SPAM.

Don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm under the impression that there are actually people who enjoy spam, but you know what I mean...

THE STUFF SUCKS.

I mean, really, do I actually want to buy Tramadol? No. Do I want the LoveDeluxe 3000? No, I'm quite happy thanks. So why post badly formatted links to it and send me e-mails that don't even make sense? I might change my mind if I hear of a 'Spam success story', but haven't heard of such a thing, so the likelihood of that is... very slim.

And what's worse is when whoever sends you the e-mail or posts a comment tries to be interested in your site. They say things like, "I totally agree... want to buy some Viagra?" Or, like one e-mail I got, add about 100 links and then wish you a good day. I actually laughed at that. If I want your more-than-likely-illegal drugs, I'll come looking for you, okay?

Anyway, something to do with the site would be nice.

I was going to add about 20 new colour schemes when I realised what a massive, massive mistake I had made. They're were great, carefully made so that each was the same size and that the colours were spread out equally. I was so proud of those little guys. Then I came to save them. In a rush, I didn't check the settings and was like, "YEAH! SAVEEEE!" But alas (Dumbledore word! ), this was my downfall... the settings were like on the lowest possible quality they could be. They came out pixelated in bits, and because I didn't save them, I can't make them again. And they're far too poor to put on a website. So I'll have to start from scratch.

Maybe I'll make something else too. Perhaps some icon tutorials and textures...?

PS: And feel free to leave a comment, but make sure it ain't spam because you now know what I'll do.

PPS: After posting this, I checked my e-mail. There was THE BIGGEST spam e-mail ever.

Updates • Apr 5, 2008

I'm almost happy with the layout now.

As for updates, I've added an Icons and Icon Bases page. I've also updates details of a few pages, including affiliates. Also, I've added a new set of brushes - 15 grunge brushes, ideal for masking.

There are other things that have changed that are a bit trivial, but they're there now

Edit: I've added a tutorial for all those who wanted to know how to make the notepad paper (It's quite long, sorry ), and one on changing bullets into images using CSS.

New Layout! • Apr 4, 2008

The new layout is up (obviously), and I hope you like it!

It's supposed to be like a page ripped out of my notebook, with doodles all over it. Believe me, it took ages to draw the paper in Photoshop, and yes, that is my stick-friend Arnold. He's the site's official mascot

Anyway, I haven't finished yet. I'm going to need to sort out some code that sticks out here and there, and I would like to customise the blog bits (especially the comments). Need to make things look a bit more snazzy? What do you think? Or is it 'professional'?

Oh, and if you'd like a tutorial on how to make some of the things and effects of this layout, leave a comment and I'll add it to my list of things to do!
